I am trying to add a new printer to instant ink. The problem is I can't get the code as the printer sends out blank pages. It has only been used for a few weeks. The ink is almost gone, but there should be enough to print one page. Any suggestions?

If the black cartridge is low enough that it is not printing properly (or at all) you might try removing the black cartridge and print the code needed with just the color cartridge installed.  The printer will automatically switch to reserve mode and use the color cartridge to print even black text.

If the color cartridge is also depleted you might try the following to print a page:  get two coffee cups and put 1" of hot water in each.  Remove the black and color cartridges from the printer and put them in separate cups, in the same orientation they would be in the printer.  Let the cartridges soak for about fifteen minutes, then dry the electrical contacts on the cartridge with a lint-free wipe (a clean coffee filter works well for this).  Replace the cartridges in the printer and try printing your code.
