Am trying to set up my new printer. When I try to print from my iPad, the iPad asks for my printer password. I never put in a password., nor do I remembered being asked for one. How do I get a password?

Hi,
The most straight forwad way to print from your ipad is to make sure that both devices and the printer are connected to the same wifi network. Once this is complete, you'll be able to print from within the apple software using the Air Print option (this is done using apple's inbuilt airprint technology).
Alternatively, you can use the wireless direct funtion of your printer .This allows the printer generate it's own wifi singal that you can connect to through any wireless device. To find the wireless password, look throuh the wireless menus for an option tht will allow to print print the password on plain paper (make sure paper is loaded). The wifi direct printer password may be what you're being asked for.
