I updated some drivers through HP Support Assistant and now the audio from the speaker is crackly and cannot be listened to, can I downgrade drivers through it? I tried to downgrade it from Windows but I need to downgrade it from the HP Support Assistant.

Hello,
Try reinstalling the audio software package on the following link.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp73001-73500/sp73189.exe
When the reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook.
