Hey @kushagragarg10,
Thanks for joining the HP Support Forums!
The great thing about the Support Forums is that here you can find solutions, suggestions and have an abundant amount of access to helping hands! I understand that you are having an issue with the sound on your HP Pavilion x360 Notebook PC making a cracking noise.
Please remove any and all USB devices and make sure to disconnect all non-essential devices, as these could cause some issues.
Did you happen to try the audio troubleshooter? It might be able to fix your issue automatically.
Have you tried plugging in external speakers to see if it is the compatibility?
When you connect headphones, do you still hear the audio issue?
Have you tried updating the audio driver?
Have you tried using the HP Support Assistant to update all of your drivers?
Have you tried using the Windows troubleshooting tool?
Have you tried to uninstall the audio driver?
If not, please use the following steps:
- Go to the Device Manager
- Click on Sound, video, and game controllers
- Right click on the Sound driver
- Click Uninstall
- Restart your Notebook twice
- Reinstall the Sound driver if it does not install automatically.
You can find these and other troubleshooting steps in the No Sound from Speakers (Windows 10, 😎 document. Please follow the steps provided in the questions asked above and the documentation.
If you require further assistance, please come back on and re-post. I would be more than happy to help!
