I bought an HP Envy X2 in May and haven't used it much for multi media. But having just downloaded some movies and video to the device I've realised that I can barely hear any audio through the headphones or speakers. The volume is up at 100% and it doesn't matter what jack socket I use for the heaphones. I've checked for device driver updates but I appear to be up to date. I can't believe that Beats would put their name to such rubbish sound, so figure that I'm doing something wrong. Help !!

Hello BomberC,
Please follow these steps and let me know if it helps.
Right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select 'Playback Devices'.
Left click the default device once to highlight it ( it's usually 'speakers & headphones' ) then click the Properties button. Click the Enhancements tab and put a tick in the box next to 'Loudness Equalization'.
Click Apply to save the change and then click OK in all remaining windows and see if this has helped at all.
Good luck!

Hi Tonijo,
What is your product number and operating system? Also, if you could elaborate on what your issue is, I'll be happy to help.
Good luck!

Hi Bomber,
I'm not pulling an Envy X2 with the product number you sent. Can you please recheck? I'm showing that as a 48 port Gig-T EA TAA compliant module.
Thanks
