i just bought it and put the headphones in. I get a pop up saying that they are plugged in but when i play something theres no audio. Speaker works just fine though. i am confused.

Unable to hear sound form audio port. Is that right?

 

I will definitely help you.

If the speakers are working fine and you have issues hearing only though the audio port, I suggest you try the headphones/earphones on a different PC to check. If the device works, then it is for sure the port issue.

 

The above suggested steps is the only way to diagnose issue on the audio port. No other steps are available.
