Pavillion 10
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Bought this computer 5 months ago and was great!  Last week, it told me that it hadn't started properly, so needed to fix something. I restarted and then it got stuck in a continual boot precess. It eventually told me that if I removed everything and started from scratch, it would work again. I did that and, success!

That lasted a week, then I got the same message about needing to restart. I restarted, it crashed and now won't turn on at all. The only sign of life is one light on the side.

Hi,

From your description, this sounds like a hardware issue.

My best advice, as your notebook is only 5 months old and therefore still under warranty, would be to contact HP and arrange to have the notebook repaired - If needed, you can check your warranty status Here.

If you live in the US, contact HP Here.

If you live in the UK, contact HP Here.

If you are in another part of the world, start Here.

Thanks so much - I'm actually in Canada and have searched high and low for a phone number to contact them directly, but all I could find was this forum. I've tried the link you provided for other countries, but it just gets me back to the same options without a phone or email.

Does anyone happen to have a phone number or email for HP in Canada?

Thank you!
