I have a hp pavilion G6 and since yesterday I am been unable to reboot or startup my laptop. I tried unplugging everything, taking out the battery and pressing the power button for 15-20 seconds and then reconnecting the AC power chsarger and the battery to no effect. All that happens iod on my monitor it only shows the HP letters and that is as far as it goes then stops and tried to reboot and stops so on and so on.
This sounds like a hard drive isssue do you agree and if so do you agree I should try getting a new harddrive and installing that.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Len

If the hard drive is not visible in the BIOS it is likely dead. You can try physically removing the hard drive and connecting it to another computer with a usb to SATA cable:

Yes I can get into the BIOS(f10) but cant seem to find the hard drive on it. It shows everything else but the hard drive.
I did find it but not the test for the hard drive.
I tried putting in a recovery disk but nothing happens it still keeps trying to boot with the same result
