Welcome to the HP Support Community @Dipanjan1994,

I understand that you are receiving an error that says  "ensure disk controller is enabled in bios" when  you try to install Windows 7.

Did you remove any and all USB devices?

Did you disconnect all non-essential devices?

How are you trying to do the Windows install?

What are you using to do the install?

Can you get to the BIOS?

Have you wiped the Notebook?

Do you have an additional hard drive connected to the Notebook?

What OS was on the Notebook previously?

You can also show your appreciation by clicking the Thumbs Up.

Please re-post with the answers to the questions above.

Thanks!
