Thank you for joining HP Forums.
I'll be glad to help you,

As I understand the keys G, H and Backspace aren't working since last night and here's what you need to do:

Perform a keypad test using the hardware diagnostic tool (Click here to know more - Running the UEFI Component Tests), it may take a while to get through the test procedure, but it will verify if the keyboards hardware functionality.

If the keyboard test passes, but you still have problems with some keys on the keyboard, check that the keyboard language has not been changed.  Go to Start --> Control Panel, choose "Change Keyboards or other input methods", then click the Change Keyboards button.  Based on your model, you should have the English (United States) - US option selected.  If some other keyboard is selected, that may have been the cause of the malfunction.

Thanks - actually had 5 more keys that weren't working - a couple function, insert, and apostrophe ... so it failed .. as it's no longer under warranty I'm assuming I need to get the keyboard replaced? correct?  I'm acutally using a wireless keyboard now as a interim solution.  Thanks for the advice how to test and any further comment.
