I have been thinking about upgrading the WLAN module in my laptop and would welcome any recommendations that you may have. The current module is the Realtek 87323BE. Ideally, the new module would have support for the 5GHZ band and 802.11ac.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations! :generic:

page 26-27 for the wifi

The best one seems to be the:

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter (non vPRO)
784644-005

Since it has 2x2 antenna connections don't get 1x1 those are not good.

Thanks a lot. One more question: Does the laptop use the mPCIe or M.2 interface for the card? The manual says 'One M.2 slot for WLAN' but I'm still a bit unsure and don't want to get the wrong one.

Here is a sample from ebay what that part number corresponds to and what the wifi looks like.
