Hi there, I've been trying to buy a new motherboard for my DV7 4180ea laptop, but I'm told the part number 605320-001 has two types of chipset, one for the i3 and i5 processors, and another type for the i7 processor, but yet both motherboards have the same hp part number, i.e. 605320-001, is this correct???

Hi,
No there is only one part with that number. 605320-001 which is for quad core processors. There is similar part for dual core processors 605321-001. You can see this in service manual on page 83.
