Battery Replacement for dv6t Pavillion Quad Entertainment Laptop

I'm trying to find 2 replacement batteries for 2 dv6t-6c00 laptops.  The info on the batteries has MU06, HP Spare 593554-001, CT: 6BUGP12BB2F2x1 on one and MU06, HP Spare 593443-001, Model # HSTNN-UBOX, CT: 6BUDQ4ISM2L33M on the other.

My question is does the CT number and model number of each battery have to match or can I just purchase 2  HP 593554-001, MU06 batteries for these machines?

Aside from the batteries not charging anymore, both laptops are in great condition and are just fine for how much we use them and what we need them to do.

Absolutely....the other numbers are just manufacturing lots or other relatively meaningless identifiers.

MU06 is probably the single laptop battery manufactured in the highest volume ever. So they are easily found and not expensive/
