Hi, I need to know if I can change my laptop processor HP Pavilion dv6-6c40us Notebook PC :Product Specifications:

Hi,

 

Firstly Intel CPU's won't work with the motherboard on your computer now. Full stop.

 

Secondly, from page 87 of the first manual on the following link:

 

     http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv6-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/5191856/model/5...

 

You won't gain much speed by upgrading AMD CPU's and you may not have an option to upgrade at all.
