Hi guys,

i've bought an HP Pavilion 15-ak112nl. My question is inherent to a dimension of a this particular component "832852-001" (DVD+/-RW Double-Layer SuperMulti Drive). This optical drive has dimension "9 or 9,5 or 12 mm" ?. Thank you, in advance. King regards.

Your machine has Fixed, serial ATA, 9.5-mm tray load DVD+/-RW Double-Layer SuperMulti Supports zero power optical drive

Only a last question @banhlen , the serial-ata Optical Drive port has S-ATA3 standard ?. I'll buy a caddy-adapter in order to upgrade my machine with an SSD. My question is related to the fact that I've or not maximum speed allowed by the SSD.
