Does my laptop support a second hard drive, and/or ssd? Will adding one void warrenty?

No. Here is the Manual.

 

Manual

 

There is no space for a second hard drive or an mSSD (M.2) type solid state drive. See pp. 2-3. The only way to add a hard drive for pure additional storage would be to use a caddy that replaces the DVD drive, which you can do without affecting the warranty. 

 

They are widely available, inexpensive and very easy to install but obviously you have to give up the DVD drive and hard drives in such a device cannot hold the OS and run a bit slower than a drive in the main hard drive slot.
