I have planned to upgrade my laptop as the performance is not meeting the requirments. I usually work with Android Studio, Photoshop, After-Effects and other editing tools. Hi,
Your machine is an HP Pavilion g6-2320ee:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03719418
1. Yes, it has a spare slot for RAM. To get full benefit, please buy a SAME stick as existing RAM and install to your computer. The following manual shows you RAM specs, part number and how to add/replace RAM
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03593041.pdf
2. Yes, you can upgrade to SSD, nothing to stop you to do that. Your machine has 500GB now, you can upgrade to same size (capacity) or larger. Samsung 850 evo series SSD is a hot cake at this point.
Regards.
