I currently have an Envy DV7-7333CL laptop and would like to purchase a replacement hard drive on amazon. Would I be ok with any 1TB 5400rpm hard drive that I am able to find or do I need to be more specific? Any help would be appreciated, Thank you.

Hello @usernamecv,
1TB drive should work fine.
You require this Part number : 778192-001

Hi,
Yes you can choose any 2.5" sata drive and it will be compatible with your system.
You can see this in service manual on page 6:

You could also choose an 2.5" SSD drive which would enhance system performance.
Hope it helps,
David
