HP Envy 17-s113ca (W8X32UA)

I searched high and low and it seems that every other nearly identical model in the more or less current Envy lineup has the M.2 connector available, but it is nowhere to be found in the maintenance manual for "model numbers 17- s100 through 17-s199 and 17-s000 through 17-s099" (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05369368).

 

I just find this so odd, is there a tech or someone who has experience to confirm it's not supported on this specific model?

Hi Mike,

Your specific model does not have an M2 conector for an M2 SSD. You can replace the hard drive with sataIII 2.5" SSD.
