The Hinge and Screen on my laptop are popping out - I'm afraid to open it anymore.  I want to fix it and see I can buy an extended warranty for it.  Does anyone know if the extended warranty will cover this?  I don't have time to sit on the phone and wait...  Thanks in advance!!

Attempting to purchase a warranty for something that you know is not working is a dubious thing to do.

Just putting that out there.

I am surprised that someone would ask that in a public forum.

I hope that you understand that this is on the internet and anyone can read your question.

I suggest that  you just fix it.

I know it is dubious which is why i didn't immediately buy one - I just want to fix my laptop and the first thing HP does is try to sell you a warranty.  So was curious if anyone had tried to fix this through an extended warranty purchased after the initial warranty expired.
