Envy15T (2007 Vintage)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Got my 15T back in 2007.

I know it's a laptop, but I use it as a desktop.

It stays on a cart in the corner, and is always plugged into the AC.

That being the case.  Can I just remove the battery, stick it in a drawer someplace, leave it there, and use the computer just on the AC (no battery installed), without harming the computer?......Izzy

You will have no problem removing the battery:

I am using a Zbook 15 G2 as my desktop and it has had its battery removed for 2 years with no problem.

As you would know the only problem is if power in the house goes out the laptop would just die.

It happened once in that 2 years
