HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0779ng

Hi all,

After few random reboots, I decided to upgrade the BIOS of my machine given the fact that an update was released few days ago.

Even after the update, I kept getting random reboots. So, I decided to perform a CPU + RAM stress test through the UEFI hardware diagnostic. After 8 successful iterations, the 9th gave a CPU error with ID: QC7Q9A-AHBC3X-XD7V41-07R003.

Can someone explain me what does this means?

Thank you!

Hi @Gaya1239,

I have resolved downloading the HP diagnostic tool suggested for my computer (version 8.something instead of 10.something currently available on the main HP diagnostic webpage). With version 8. the ID changed and now the QR code guides me toward a page that explain the issue that I'm facing (USB ports seems faulted).

Thank you!
