Notebook envy 2015
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have hp envy 2015 and the laptop display is blinking. This blinking is best described as the frequency of the refresh rate of display was not correct. I got envy with winows 8.1 but upgraded it to 10. I have used win 10 for a week but there was fault whit the screen so the laptop was sent to hp repair where they updated bios and replaced the faulty display. 6 months later i face a NEW problem with flickering display. I can best describe it as very slight blinking of the whole screen but it is very anoying when you open aplications or programms that have contrast of dark colors. I made sure all my drivers are updated, i made sure that the refresh rate of the screen is made 60 Hz (max). Backlight is fully bright and there is no interference whit lights in the house cuz the problem is present in darkness. I even tought that there might be the ptoblem with program compatibility but that might not be the case. I am out of ideas what to do please help .

Envy 2015 is not really a model we need to know the HP Model number:

Sounds like a hardware issue I hate to say. Have you tried an external monitor? If the display is stable on an external then the problem has to be the screen panel itself of a connection to it.

I had my display on my Envy Laptop replaced under warranty last year about 8 months ago.  The problem is back again--with a vengence.  I have to think that HP is aware of the problem, but now I am stuck.  It is out of warranty and now my problem.   It took more than 6 weeks to get the Tech Support to issue an RMA and get me a box the last time.  I must have made 15 calls and sat on hold forever.

Anyone have any ideas of how to contact someone at HP support in the US?

The fastest way is to start a Support case on the internet but you will not get far if the unit is out of warranty.

Thanks!  I suppose that if HP has no desire to fix the problem, I can always buy another brand next time.  I have been buying HP computers, laptops, printers for yeas, but I guess it is time to go where they will take care of me!

This forum shows that HP knows of the ongoing problem with these displays.  If it were just the one time, I could accept it and go on, but a repeat problem for the same issue is not acceptable to me, especially since they will offfer no help in getting it fixed!
