Hi,

My Notebook's HDD was running 100 active. So proceed with running HP System Extensive Test which resulted to Hard Drive Short DST Failure. Failure ID: GLMPX9-84J8BE-MFPWLK-60SU03.

Any ideas on what might causing the issue? Should I replace the HDD?

PS. My Notebook is under warranty in case that HDD needs to be replaced.

Thanks,

Theo

That is the case. Hard drive must be replaced. Start a Support Case to get HP involved in the process to replace your hard drive. Back up if you still can as HP will not make any effort to preserve your data.
