Hi,
My model (HP ENVY 17-j006ea) came with two hard-drives. I use the primary for windows and programs only and I'd like to replace this with an SSD.
Do I need to buy a secondary bay adaptar - or can I use the same parts that are currently used for my main drive?
Many thanks

You have 2 bay adapters for 2 hard drives. You can use an SSD in the adapter currently being used for the primary drive. The hole pattern and location of the SATA connectors is the same. The primary and secondary bay adapters are a little different and not interchangeable but if you have one of each you have all the adapters you need. Post back with any more questions.
