Hi,

I have the Elite X2 1012 g.1 tablet and I would like to switch out the wireless card so I can use the HP Advanced Wireless Docking Station. I need the Intel 18260 WLAN card; where can I buy one that is specificially for this computer?

The part number for INT 802.11AC 18260+BT4 2x2 SAR WLAN module compatible withHP ELITE X2  is 840083-001.

Unfortunately the part is not available with HP Stores as of now. Hence we will have to buy online with external providers.

I'm planning to install this upgrade also on my Elite x2.

Do I need I also need to buy and install Intel® Wireless Gigabit Antenna M10041R for the new wirless card to work?
