Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I'd like to upgrade Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card in my HP EliteBook 8570w laptop. It currently has  Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 Combo Adapter (HP part # 698588-001). Would you be so kind to let me know what would be the best and easiest upgrade of it (possibly to 802.11 ac or 802.11 ax)? Reason for upgrade: my place will be getting 1 Gbps Fiber Optics Internet (from Ziply Fiber) in 3-4 months, so I'd like to be prepared and utilize as much speed/bandwidth as possible.

Thank you very much in advance for your answer.

It was built more than 11 years ago, due to the whitelist, upgrading wifi card to 802.11 ac or 802.11 ax is impossible. Option: you can use the following adapter (or similar) to get better speed

Thank you so much for the quick answer. Is there any chance that 8570w may not have whitelist though?

No, it was built before 2014.
