HP fixed my left hinge and finally it was distorted to where I jad to be careful opening it.  THEY JUST FIXED THIS!!  I opened the case and saw the bolt receptacles in the case are not holding the hinge in.  This is a horrible design!!!!!!!!!!!!  I put an oversize sheetmetal screw through the bottom bolt hole and the sent it through the offending hinge.  Now it looks crappy just to do the dame tying.  Very dissappointed-doubt I will buy HP again,

Thank you--To HP's credit they have been all over this.  I already have my box to send in.  I am very impressed.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

I clicked solved by mistake--this is anything but.  They still have my laptop--I just finished writing this email: So you had a complete work day to make a decision on what you are going to do and I have no update.  Get my hard drive and put it in a new computer-copy my documents/programs/data and install on a new hard drive in a new computer.  Change the case or send me my computer back with refund.  You are holding my property unfairly at this point.  I want a decision made as this was supposed to be send back to me over seven days ago.  I want action or do I have to report it stolen?  HP is a big company with a known problem in their hinges.  Have you even found out why it overheats.  I expect a proposal to resolve my issues tomorrow.  If you do not contact me I will have to report it stolen.  Did we really just get to this point?  This is a new low.  Just get something done.  ---Steve Cropper  This has been over three weeks for a known issue.  HP has really screwed the pooch.  I guess I have to report my laptop stolen.  Is there a class action lawsuit on this matter.  THE LEFT HINGE ON YOUR LAPTOPS IS A PROBLEM HP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can someone help me?
