HEllo

I have an HP G62-b31EE Laptop, and I would like to upgrage the RAM from 2GB to 4GB or more,

I have found many RAM available oninle for shopping.

My question is how to select the suitable ship for my Laptop?

The official specs say it has 2 gigs and can be upgraded to 4 gigs. However, the Service manual says it can be upgraded to 8 gigs.

However, even that is suspect because the 4 gig modules are said to only work with a specific model in the series and not sure yours is one of them. So the best thing I think will be to upgrade from 2 gigs to 4 gigs. You do that by adding a second 2 gig module into the open slot.
