Product: HP Pavilion 17 GO77CL
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The small round plastic part of the notebook's DC power connctor broke and fell out leaving the metal prongs exposed. Now the AC adapter plug does not make proper contact to charge the battery or power the notebook. Without removing the cover, can someone verify the DC connector is actually part of the motherboard? Or, can it be replaced without replacing the motherboard?
