Hi, i am trying to see if there is any way possible for me to upgrade my cpu , what i have currently is just too slow.
HP Pavilion 17-e155nr TouchSmart Notebook PC
Product Number J8S35UA
Microprocessor 1.5GHz AMD Quad-Core A4-5000 Accelerated Processor
what would be the best upgrade for me? i am hoping for 8 core

Hi,
Did you know you have to buy the whole motherboard/system board to be able to upgrade ? This is a very expensive upgrade.
Please check page 73 of the second manual on the following link which shows avaiable (PC boards) parts for the series:
