KI04 battery It says plugged in not charging it is still 4% for 3months. I tried all the steps told by hp support in previous battery related issues. the battery charging problem occured exactly after the expire of warranty. please give an idea. the hp service person ask about 4000 and week its too much to pay for the battery and too much time for the battery please give solution

A "genuine" one is obviously going to affect your finances. "Compatible" is your only other choice as 11,000 rupees is about what a genuine one is going to cost in India. Your laptop will be fine.

Have you run the battery diagnostic test either in UEFI diagnostics (F2 as you power up) or the HP Support Assistant? Check battery health status and tell us how many cycles are registered on the battery. If you are saying the battery is only a little over a year old, that is too young to die.
