I have a problem with my laptop , is running very slow and after performing several tests the hard drive optimized dst check failed. The failure id is : RUX49G-71Q85G-MFPWWK-61SM03 and the product id is F1Y68EA#AKE. I want to know what doest this test means , what the failure id represents and what should i do to resolve the problem.

Hi,
The failure ID will either be a Smart or Disk Self Test failure - both would indicate that your Hard Drive is failing and will need to be replaced.
If your notebook is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange to have the drive replaced.
If you are out of warranty and would like a guide on replacing the Hard Drive yourself, please let me know.
