Hello Folks, I bought a used /returned  HP Envy without a HDD . I have bought a new HDD, but would need the cassette to hold it, Does anyone know where i can buy one?

Once you know the exact model-number of your computer, you may access http://support.hp.com to find the "Service and Maintenance" manual for your computer.  It will list the HP part-number for the "carrier".  With that part-number, you may access http://PartSurfer.hp.com to order the part.

 

In that "Maintenance" manual, check to see if there is an adapter that connects to the SATA/power ports on the disk-drive, and then the adapter connects to the socket on the motherboard. Maybe there is, maybe there is not. 

 

Also, look for the part-number for any screws that will hold the disk-drive in the adapter.
