Product: Pavilion dv7-6b32us Notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I plan to add a SSD for operating system and make current 640GB HDD as 2nd hard drive.
Maintenance and Service Guide said :"Supports 160-GB solid-state drive (solid-state drive) "
Any one know if the notebook suports a 256GB SSD?

Hi,
160gb is what HP tested it from factory. You can put 256gb, 500gb or 1tb capacity 2.5 inch SATA SSD in primary bay and make it boot drive
You need hard drive kit to place HDD and connect to board from secondary bay (page 51) , HP part number 665597-001
