i had done a system restore and lost audio

your computer originally was shipped with Windows 8, and there are no device-drivers for Windows 10 listed on HP's web-site. If you are running Windows 10, this means that the necessary "audio" device-drivers for Windows 10 are either:
* included when you installed Windows 10,
* available via Windows Update after installing Windows 10.
for the audio device-driver for Windows 8.1.
