HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-eu0000 IDS Base Model

I special ordered this laptop with a 400 nit screen directly from HP three years ago. AMD Ryzen 7, 16gb ram, 540gb ssd. After two months the power button stopped working. It was repaired under warranty. Today, the same problem occurred... Dead power button. Out of warranty, of course. Tried all the workarounds with no success. This seems to be a known hardware problem with model that HP refuses to acknowledge. If it was a car it would have been recalled. Estimates on replacing the button range from $300 to $500. Ridiculous. I've probably got less than 50 hours on the laptop since I bought it.
