Hey there! @mtab7163, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand that you need drivers for HP dvd1270e running windows 10.
Please try few steps recommended below.
To reinstall the driver, follow these steps:
Press the Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog box.
Type devmgmt.msc in the Run dialog box, then press Enter. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow
In Device Manager, expand DVD/CD-ROM drives, right-click the CD and DVD devices, and then click Uninstall.
When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.
Restart the computer.
After the computer restarts, the drivers will be automatically installed.

Hi! @mtab7163, thanks for the response.
Even I have looked at the specifications of this DVD drive and it does list windows 10 in the compatible list.
However, you can try installing generic windows 10 drivers and Check if the DVD drive works.
Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
Expand one of the categories to find the name of your device, then right-click (or tap and hold) it, and select Update Driver Software. For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right click your graphics card and select Update Driver Software.
Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.
If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Cheers! 🙂
