I want expand storage for hp folio 9480m.
Could you please advise me what is the capable to this model, Is it msata? Or M.2 sad?

If you can find one on the market yes. The issue is whether you can use the M.2 as a boot disk. The Service manual makes reference to a flash cache 32 gig M.2 and generally systems that use that configuration will not let you use the mSSD as the operating system disk if a 2.5 inch SATA is also installed. I believe yours is slightly more advanced than those, however and will let you run Windows from the M.2 and use the 2.5 inch SATA disk as storage. The M.2 will be a SATA configuration and will not really be any faster than if you just installed a larger 2.5 inch SATA-III SSD.

Here is the Service Manual:
See pp. 32-36. You have a slot for a regular 2.5 inch SATA hard drive or SSD and then also a slot for a 2242 M.2 mSSD which is kind of an odd form factor not easily located in the market, but they are out there. Shorter than the more common 2282 M.2 device.
