Ciao a tutti!! Dopo molte (e vane) ricerche sul web vorrei sapere qual'è il più potente processore che posso montare sul mio laptop DV9572el (socket S1) e se sarà necessario aggiornare il BIOS,  per un upgrade hardware ormai necessario a far funzionare i programmi che uso per lavoro, approfittando del fatto che devo effettuare una riparazione della scheda video per il famoso difetto che affligge questo modello.  Vi sarei enormemente grato se poteste aiutarmi! Vi ringrazio anticipatamente per una vostra eventuale risposta! Saluti, Borghi Alberto.

The best processor you can install in your notebook is the AMD Turion TL-68.

 

See chapter 1, page 1 for the list of supported processors.

Looking at the BIOS release notes for the BIOS revisions, it does not appear that you need to update the BIOS to install the above processor.
