You're very welcome.

LOL! ... OK, what they mean by that is...on your model, memory upgrades are supposed to only be done by an authorized service center.

If you look further into the manual...Chapter 6, you will see the removal and replacement procedures for the various components to be performed only by an authorized service center.

If you are good at taking things apart, and better at putting them back together again, you can do the upgrades yourself.

But bear in mind that if your notebook is still under warranty, and you break something during the process, the warranty will most likely be voided.

Hi:

Check the maintenance and service guide, chapter 1, page 2 for the memory upgrade information.

Thank you very much!

Could you please be my "translator" from technitian to human being?

What mainly confuses me is "non-customer-accessible/upgradable"

Does it mean that there may be a free slot (default configuration is 4GB) but I can't use it?

Two non-customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slots (Intel Core processors)

DDR4-2133 dual channel support (DDR4-2400 bridge to DDR4-2133)

Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following conƭgurations

● 16384-MB total system memory (8192×2)

● 12288-MB total system memory (8192×1) + (4096×1)

● 8192-MB total system memory (8192×1) or (4096×2)

● 6144-MB total system memory (4096×1) + (2048×1)

● 4096-MB total system memory (4096×1) or (2048×2)

Thanks in advance
