I type almost exclusively in French for my work, so I need the French accents on the keyboard.

No it is going to be a US-centric model. There is an optional Canadian keyboard that is going to provide characters allowing French or English language input. 

 

You can also add a language to Windows:

Then you would have to map the keyboard keys to allow alternate input. Such as your accents.
