HP Pavilion P045tx (4th I7, 8GB/1 TB)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings !

Notebook's fan was running at high speed while switching it on. It was getting normal after a minute and running fine till the time no browser was opened.

Once I start browsing, again the fan was running at high speed and system was getting slow & freezes after  15-20 min.

Need to close the browser and wait for few minutes to get normal again. Issue was severe when I use Firefox than when I was using chrome.

(My notebook's battery dead since a month and can be used only when plugged in.)

Went to service center, but the notebook works fine when they checked. They said the board was getting heat due to faulty battery which causes the fan to run at high speeds and suggested to replace the battery.

Is battery the only reason for the laptop getting freeze while browsing or any hardware problem ?

Ready to replace the battery if it's the only problem.

Kindly suggest me in solving the issue.
