I would like to know if my laptop supports the M.2 SSD drives.
Hardware: Intel Core i7-4700MQ (quad-core), 8gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M (2 GB DDR3 dedicated), 1TB HDD

I understand that you would like to know if your notebook will support a M.2 SSD drive. When I checked the HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC and HP ENVY TouchSmart 15 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide , there is no mention of a M.2 SSD drive. Please note page 5, Solid State drives.
