Is the m.2 port SATA compatable? And which key is needed to run the M.2 (B or M)

Hi,
Yes the M2 port is sata III compatible and the key on the drives will be M+B as all modern M2 SSD are. The form factor is 2280.
Here is a guide which shows how to place or replace the drive:

Here is example of drive you need (you can buy any brand (cheaper on big online stores)
