Good afternoon, what is the maxium amount of ram that a 17t-ab000 with touchscreen can use? It came 16gb, I was wondering if I could use 2 pieces of 16gb DDR4 sd ram. The bios is the most current version, I believe last I checked.

Oo. thats a shame. I was able to add a 2nd 2TB Seagate Firecuda Hybrid drive to the open expansion bay, just had to order a second hdd sata cable from HP parts since its proprietary along with some rubber washers and screws. Also was able to add 512gb M.2 PCIe NVMe (TLC) SSD to the open PCle slot on the side closer to the fan which mine did not come with. 512gb and 256gb ssd's are only supposed to be for non touch screen models but seems to be working just fine after formatting. So now I have two, 2TB HDD and a 512gb sdd. Only thing left to upgrade was the ram not sure why they dont allow it a lot of gamming laptops have 32gb of ram but thanks for pointing this out.
