Hi,
I recently bought the HP Envy 15t-as000 from store.hp.com and configured for a 1 TB HDD since I saw that this laptop has a HDD only / SSD only / HDD+SSD combo to choose from.
Now when I open the laptop, I find that the SSD M.2 slot is actually missing! What's going on? I recently bought a Dell and I didnt have any trouble upgrading them.

Hi,
>>> laptop has a HDD only / SSD only / HDD+SSD combo to choose from.
You had 2 options
(a) Single storage: HDD or SSD
(b) Dual storage: SSD and HDD
And you picked 1TB HDD which is Single storage with HDD only. That was your choice. You did not ask for SSD M.2 slot.
Regards.

Thanks for the response. Didint realize HP laptops are not designed to be upgradable. This is like my 3rd HP laptop and I never had such troubles with the previous 2 ones. Removing the M.2 slot because I didnt pick the SSD option, ha!!
Hoping that other buyers thinking of buying HP laptops read this post to get educated and dont fall in the hole like me!
