Hi all,
I had a little problem with my Pavilion x360, i can't power off.
I explain, when i want to close off the notebook, all the system goes off, but the light on the corner is still lightning.
The hardware was off, but if i want to power on, i need to press the button light to switch off and to represt it to power on.
It's since i upgraded to the BIOS version 32 rev A. 32 is not for the CPU.
Thanks for your answers and sorry if i had a bad english.

Hi,
The only other suggestion I have at the moment is as follows.
Disable 'Fast Startup' and restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, download and install the IMEI driver from Intel on the link below.
When the installation has completed, restart the notebook and let windows fully load.
Re-enable 'Fast Startup' and check if the notebook will now shutdown.

Hi,
Try disabling Windows 10 hybrid boot - you can do this as follows.
Open Settings and select System. Select Power and sleep, then click on Additional power settings - in the following window, click on 'Choose what the power button does' in the left hand pane.
In the subsequent window, first click on 'Change settings that are currently unavailable' ( near the top of the Window ) and then remove the checkmark from the box against 'Turn on fast start-up (recommended)'. Click the Save Settings button, then close any open windows and shutdown the notebook by right click the Start Menu icon, select Command Prompt (Admin) and click ‘Yes’ to the uac prompt.
Type ( or copy and paste ) in the following command ( including spaces ) and hit enter.
shutdown /s /t 0
Start the notebook and let Windows fully load for a couple of minutes before checking if it will now shutdown correctly from the Start Menu.
If this has corrected the issue, it may be worth turning Fast Start-up back on – sometimes just deleting and re-creating the file will resolve the problem.

Hi,
I did everything you told me to do, but apparently it does not work . The power button is always on when I turn off my PC, and I have to turn it off with this button still pressing at least 3 seconds.
If you have another solution , I'm interested.
Regards.

Hi,
Hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run box type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In the Device Manager window, expand System devices, then scroll down to the entry Intel Management Engine Interface, right click this and select Properties. Select the Driver tab and let me know the Driver version you see listed.

Hi,
On some machines, the 11 series IMEI driver has been known to cause this sort of shutdown issue, so it may well be worth trying an earlier version.
You can use the following method to install an earlier version of the IMEI driver.
Download the IMEI driver on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp66001-66500/sp66228.exe
Turn off your wireless card ( should be f12 ).
Open your Downloads folder and run the installer - it will warn you that this is an earlier version, but just continue.
When complete, restart the notebook.
If the machine now shuts down correctly, turn your wireless card back on and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 from automatically updating the IMEI driver again.
