Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I bought this new HP laptop which has Windows 10. However the built-in mouse is rubbish and very frustrating. I have a HP X4500 wireless mouse that I have been using with my old desktop PC, which is Windows 7. I have the original disk for the mouse, but this doesn't work on the new laptop, and I have searched the HP site for drivers for Windows 10, but this isn't listed as an option in the OS dropdown box. Can someone please help and tell me:

a) how I can improve the performance of the built-in mouse, and

b) where can I find Windows 10 drivers for the x4500 wireless mouse

Many thanks in advance!

You will have to plug the USB dongle that the mouse was delivered with in order to use the wireless mouse.

Once you do that, it will be recognized by the operating system and be useable.

Oops... Now why didn't I think of that?! Works perfectly, thank you!
