As the system dignosysis pointed out that msata is 24gb is failed so i am thinking for changing it.
Now i have a confusion whether to buy a msata or upgrade with a ssd since my model only supports 24gb/32gb m sata and it is not accessible easily need to remove the entire back of the laptop.
Instead i am thinking of buying a 120 gb ssd and planning to use it as primary for os and secondary as the 1tb hdd
is it possible to add 120gb of msata hdd to my model laptop .
Please provide the best solution for me.

i have dropped the plan of upgrading to ssd as it is costly and i am not ready to invest in a 3year old laptop.
i am planning to change only the msata in my hp envy 17 j 029nr laptop. i have a problem in that my laptop is having a 24gb msata and there is no 24gb msata available in the market in india and all are either 16 or 32gb ones only.
I need to know whether 32gb will be suitable for my laptop.i am providing a link for it whether it will be suitable for my laptop in particular

Anand

Hi @Anand,
According to the 32GB SSD specification, yes it is compatible.
I hope that helps !
